Court since 1972. Elected in 1991 member of the Tripoli Bar Association. Elected in 1994
Chairman of the Tripoli Bar Association. Member of the Laws Amendment Committee, member of
the committe entrusted with the task of amending Lebanon's rental law. Member of Lebanese
Arbitration Council.
Political Career: Minister of Justice in
Hariri's fourth cabinet (October 26, 2000 - April 15, 2003). Minister of Education and
Higher Studies in Hariri's fifth cabinet (April 17, 2003 - October 26, 2004).
